As a traditional food in Taiwan, thin noodle can be found in every street in Taiwan. However, the noodle shop that latte went to shoot today was different from the shop that makes ordinary intestine noodles or oyster noodles. It is a shop that specializes in making vegetarian noodles in front of the Buddhist temple.
The shop is in front of exit 4 of Yongning MRT station in Tucheng. It was only 5 a.m. when latte arrived at the shop on the day of filming, but Sister Chen was already busy. Although it is a vegetarian noodle line, the production process is still complicated. The thin noodle has to be washed several times to remove excessive salt and soda. The ingredients are only simple Jew’s ear and mushrooms, but the noodle tastes really delicious. Sister Chen said that there is a unique seasoning recipe!
